Weather is the day job. Dance, music, and comedy made the person delivering it recognizable far beyond the forecast.

Meet the person

Nick Kosir is a FOX Weather meteorologist and the creator known as The Dancing Weatherman. His public speaker profile connects his broadcasting career, including his earlier work at FOX 46 in Charlotte, with his work in social media and personal branding.

In a September 2026 interview with XXL, Kosir discussed the music behind that identity. Before the dance videos, he worked as a radio DJ in college and delivered rhyming forecasts during his time in Beaumont, Texas. The magazine traces his breakout dance video to 2019.

A recognizable rhythm

In that XXL conversation, Kosir describes social media as a place to meet an audience where it already spends time. His mix of music references, weather, and physical comedy gives viewers several ways into the same personality.

That is what interests us about his work. A recognizable creator gives people something to anticipate: a delivery, a recurring idea, or a familiar sense of humor. A new clip can feel familiar before the viewer knows where it is going. The format makes room for a surprise while keeping the person at the center.

Beyond one format

Kosir is a useful addition to a network that includes founders, photographers, and creators working in very different settings. His public career brings broadcast experience and internet entertainment into the same frame. Alongside the businesses we cover, it opens up a question worth following: what makes an audience remember a person, then choose to watch again?
